Mine was spent enjoying the cool weather that has {FINALLY} been graced upon us, keeping company with my sweet friend who was under the influence of wisdom tooth narcotics, making homemade hot chocolate (once you try it, you'll NEVER go back!) with my mama, and swing dancing!
Yes, Caleb asked me on a whim Saturday evening (well, maybe not so much a whim... I'm glad that I am able to be the kind of friend that friends know they can call if they need someone to talk to) to go to Kats Korner with him... Caleb is a fantastic swing dancer.
So is my sweet and wonderful friend Camille.
They take me dancing with them when they can.
I have no feasible idea why!
God graced me with many talents, but dancing was NOT one of them!
You see, I've got rhythm (five points if you sang that last line), but my body just doesn't move the way my brain knows it should!
So no matter how many times I try, I'm mediocre at best.
And you know what stinks rocks about having friends who are phenominal dancers? Everybody else thinks you're just as good. ;)
So maybe it's not all bad... the trick's on them, right? And I still get dance partners (even if I only dance with them once), right?
Ha ha, so there you have it ladies and gentlemen...
But seriously... if you've never been to Kats before... GO! It is so much fun!
