Never Looking Back!

Ok, so I guess everybody else in the world right now is doing a recap post, I'll do my part. I'll recap on 2010. In a nutshell, it was really really horrible up till October. So to state the obvious, I moved, I broke off bad friendships (and they did not break nicely), and I started all over here in Gilbert. My life was basically turned upside down, and from July 26 till about the end of September I cried everyday after school. It was absolute and complete misery. Not even joking. However..... at least a little bit of good has come out of it. So here's the recap of what GOOD things happened in 2010.

First of all I was brave crazy enough to take a trip with my ward to the snow. Was it fun? Yes! Was it painful? Very much so. :)

I threw a fun surprise birthday party with my friends for Camille! My friends really are the greatest... see why I miss them so much?

I got better at making hair flowers... man! I forgot how cute this one was, why did I stop making them? ...oh yeah, EvErYbOdY started making them! Maybe I'll pick it up again this coming year.

I got a new brother. In law. My beautiful sister Sydnee got married! :D It was a super de duper happy day!

I moved. Away from Mesa. And DRHS. And from my friends. It was sad.

I know that these pictures are hideous! Just sheild your eyes and give me some slack... it was a rough day.

I turned 1-6! :D Finally! It turned out a little bit differently than I had pictured, for many different reasons, but it was the best birthday I could have asked for! :)

I discovered that my hair actually dries cute when I sleep on it wet. I also discovered Picnik. :)

I took a road trip with my family and had the BEST time EVER! :D

Have I ever mentioned hwo much I love road trips? :)

Oh! And I also did something that I never even dared to dream... I went to the Lime Ricki store in Salt Lake. In person. And I purchased a swim suit. *swoon* It was better than I could have ever hoped for! The people that worked there were so cute and kind and the dressing rooms were adorable and I even got there when they were starting to model some of their suits! Yep, you know that red head that always models their swimsuits? I met her. :) It was basically a dream come true.

I stepped out of my comfort zone and got back into theatre by auditioning for a company theatre production of Little Women. I made it (Ensemble/Mrs. Kirk) and it was one of the best experiences of my life! I made so many new friends and it was almost theraputic to me to be able to go to rehearsals and be someone else and be with so many fun and amazing people during the move.

The cast bonded so much and we basically became family. Out director told us herself that she's never been in a show with a cast that has been so close and bonded so much and gotten along so well.

I miss them. :) We talk on Facebook all the time... we're all still suffering from PPD (Post Play Depression). :)

I went to my first school dance! The best part of it was that it was a Desert Ridge dance and not a Basha one... scratch that... the best part of it was ditching it and going ot Jaron's house for our own dance partay. :)

I became a Death Eater. 'nuf said.

I became best friends with this amazing dude right here!

But then he left on his mission.

So now I'm writing him. It's great fun. :) After this year is over, only 11 months until he comes home! :D

And I went on a lot of fun dates! ...well, not a lot I guess, it was more like 4. But I had a blast on all of them! :)

And that's just about it! So long 2010, hello 2011. We're that much closer to 2012 (which I really really REALLY can not wait for. :) )

I'll keep you posted on my New Years Resolution. :) I still have yet to think of one.
