Day 7... Correct...?

Have you ever just stopped and thought about the body that you live in?

Isn't it increadible?!?!

Isn't it amazing how your joints connect your bones, and how inside each of your cells in a community or organelles that each have a specific function that is vitally important and how your brain is like one giant computer that controls literally everything in the body?

AMAZING!

I think the human body is just about the most increadible thing that God created in those seven days of miraculous creation.

And the fact that every single human being is his/her own being with their own thoughts, dreams, strengths, weaknesses...

It's amazing how skin protects all of our inner organs, and how hair grows, and how our eyes reflect light to play back the world around us and enable us to see, how our ears interpret sound waves and allow us to hear, and how the nerves all around our body allow us to touch and feel.

It's amazing how our immune system works, and how antigens work and lymphocytes and T and B cells and anitbodies and how they know how to recognize and kill viruses before teh ydo ay damage to your body.

It's amazing how the reproductive system works (no, not like that! Get your mind out of the gutter!) and how the human body has the ability to replicate itself! It's absolutely astonishing that a living human being can be created inside the body of a woman, and then be born with this perfect working, living, complex, beautiful body!

I mean, have you ever thought about this? God is so amazing!

Today's topic is my most valued possesion, and (of course) I had a ton of trouble thinking of what on this earth I valued the most! I go so frustrated thinking through precious memories and then trying to remember if maybe there was a souvenir that I treasured most, or maybe an article of clothing, or an heirloom.

I couldn't do it.

Then it hit me! I am SO thankful for this beautiful temple that Heavenly Father blessed me with.

I'm so thankful that I was able to come to earth a girl, and that my body has the ability to create life. I feel so privelidged that Heavenly Father trusted me enough to give me a body with that kind of amazing power.

My body is amazing!

I have appendeges that work! My arms, my legs, my hands, my feet, my fingers, my toes, they all work perfectly!

I'm so thankful for my ability to see, hear, touch, and taste.

Really, without this increadibly work of art, I wouldn't be able to have the experience on earth that Heavenly Father intended me to have.

In the pre-mortal world we all begged Heavenly Father to allow us to obtain bodies so that we could come to earth and live.

Heavenly Father said yes.

Thank you Heavenly Father.
