Life With Babies

Photobucket
Since living with babies in the house once again I have...

1. Worn much less makeup.
2. Showered less on the days I don't go to school.
3. Watched much more television.
4. Done much less laundry.
5. Discovered that homework no longer gets done at home.

Basically, this whole deal has been a much bigger adjustment that I had anticipated. It has been a lot more stressful, a lot scarier in the baby-proofing department, and a lot harder to adjust to nap times that I had thought it would be.
I mean... c'mon... back in the day I was the pro babysitter! In fact, I still am! Those little Mia-Maids 'aint got nothin' on me! But there is a vast, vast, VAST difference between babysitting little kids for one night, and living with them 24/7.
It's not all bad though! I laugh so much, and playing with a baby has to be one of the happiest experiences you can ever have. I mean, you smile just to get them to smile, and then when they do smile you smile even bigger! Who doesn't love that?!?
I'm not quite sure what I'm trying to say here... I guess I'm just wanting to get my thoughts down, and express how happy I am that we're not moving right now... because with Tammy and the girls moving in and helping my seester pack her things to move out of her house, I feel like I'm done with moving for a while.
We'll see how long that lasts. *knock on wood* :)

P.S. I always get a kick at how determined my cute coupled friends are in the pursuit of finding me a "man". Seriously... when they ask, "So any luck with some boys?" and I reply, "Psh! You're funny, what do you think?" they get so depressed as if someone just died. Really guys... it's okay. :) It's not like it's something I'm not used to, I've been single for quite a long while, and I'm' quite accustomed to it. It's really not half bad, I promise. :)
