It's hard to believe that I'm no longer a "kid". It's also hard to believe that I made it through being a "kid"... something I kept telling myself I'd never be able to do! I heard it put perfectly yesterday on Facebook like this:
10 year old me: what does that...oh there's my Betty Spaghetti!
14 year old me: LIES. COME FASTER.
Me Now: WOAH WOAH WOAH where did all the time go??!!
My years of childhood are all over and I am thoroughly convinced that I have nothing but bright horizons ahead of me! :) Life has been kind to me thus far despite my crooked teeth and awkward ponytails, so either it's waiting to smack the taste out of my mouth or it just really likes me. :)
So while being 18 is scary enough to make me want to pee my pants, it's also really exciting... scary-exciting...scarciting!
Look out world! It's me, Jadyn Maree... the ADULT!
