#Goals

Okay guys, I made a promise to keep up on the blogging and I am determined to make good on it! I thought, what better way to do that than to make a list of goals of things I want to write about? :D
a.) Accountability... c'mon... once I announce it, you think I wan to disappoint?
b.) Once I see it written down it is SO much easier to remember later on. It's like, once I see it I can keep it fresh in my mind... you know?
Okay, so number one!

NO POO:
Don't get scared, it's not what you think. ;)
You all remember when I first cut my hair off into a pixie almost FOUR YEARS AGO?!?
I know, I can't believe it's been that long either!
Well, back in January after I had Olivia I thought to myself, "You know what? I'm ready for a change." I was feeling a little bit in a rut (postpartum will do that to ya) and I was just ready for a fresh start. I had gotten demis on my hair before but it had been so long ago and I had had my hair cut so many times before that, that I knew the hair growing back would be virgin hair. I was so excited! It felt like I would be like a clean slate, I could grow my hair back super healthy and strong, and pretty soon I'd just have long Amazonian hair and run naked trough the jungle and shimmer like a goddess...
You know, the yooge... (I literally just spent 20 minutes trying to figure out how to spell that... how do you even do it?!? If you say "use" then people will pronounce it the regular way... seriously, these are things you never think of... sorry, moving on... ;) )
Anyway, it was honestly going pretty well! I was dealing with all of the stages pretty well, I was watching lots of YouTube videos as inspiration, and I felt like this time (because we all remember the first time I tried to "grow it out")
"I'm planning on going on a mission"
...adorable.
Anyway, long story short (no pun intended) by th time July rolled around  was at a cros roads. My hair was SO long (at least for me) and we were about to tak a vacation. Additionally, about a month after our vacation was my sister in law's wedding and I started getting super self conscious about the way I looked with my "in-between" hair. It really wasn't that bad looking back on it, but my issue was that I just didn't know how to style it. And I ddn't want to look shaggy in our vacation/wedding pictures.
I know!
That's a horrible reason but on a whim I impulse cut it and for about the first week I was SO HAPPY with it!
But then thegravity of what I had done really started to sink in.
I had thrown nearly SEVEN MONTHS of hair growth down the drain!!!
So I quickly had an emotional break down, sulked for a few days, and researched everything I could do to get my locks to grow back as quicks possible.
That's when I discovered the "no poo" method.
I won't explain everything here, you'll have to wait for my real-deal post for that, but be excited... it's  game changer. :D I've been doing this for almos weeks now and even though I'm still a newbie at it, I feel like I am already seeing so much improvement to my hair!

CLOTH DIAPERS
Anybody who knows me knows that I am proud user of cloth dipes!!!
I love them.
I love them SO much!
ANybody who asks me about them isi seriously doing so at their own risk because I seriously get a little crazy.
I just getxcited!
Anyway, I've thought for a while that it would be such a good idea to write aeries of blog posts about cloth diapers because there is so much information out there that it times make them seem super complicated and intimidating.
Guys, don't worry.
They are super easy. :)
I am here to help.
Or at least I will be when I write these posts. ;)

APARTMENT TOUR
Yes!!! Little by little I am working at making our apartment livable!
It's a work in progress but in about a week we will finally have some money and I will be able to go sell my soul to Ikea (basically my favorite store of all time).
Once I finally get things organized and set up I will show off my extremely rough interior design skills (or lack thereof... either way, I'll show you guys around our new place).

And that's just about it!
Until then!

Yay for goals!! I'm excited to read up on them. :^)

Also, I know I'm nowhere near needing them, but I seriously want to try cloth diapers when we have littles. Tanner's super against them, but I think I can wear him down... Eventually. ;^)
