So this past weekend...this past weekend was a little bit crazy.
For one of my classes I had to put together this presentation about my journey through the class.
Except... I had not worked on it at ALL due to the amount of time I had to work on it over the weekend.
So hey! Why not wing it?
And hey! Why not NAIL it?
Yep. For once, one of my procrastinations actually resulted in a real-life brain blast (cyber-five to anybody who can name that reference!) and the presentation practically threw itself together.
Let's just take a moment to dance in honor of all those High School teachers who told us we could never pull this crap off. I say poo to you (another cyber-five to the one who can name this even more obscure reference... c'mon... anyone?), this thing went off without a hitch!
So then I went home and logged onto the hot bliggity blog. You know... 'cause I have no life or something. I had mentioned my blog in class and one sweet lady actually asked for the URL so she could check it out.
Yikes! People actually read this thing?
*clears throat* I mean, AWESOME! Actual readers!
Anyhow, I hopped onto the blog. It was grand. I hadn't updated since the day before... the "incident" of the weekend...
...and guess what?
A comment! Like... the first one since October!
And about ten more page views than normal!
What! What!
And then my mom walks in on the rejoicing and is all, "Oh yeah! Less than 24 hours until Jef-fuh-fuh (okay, this one get's a cyber-five and a candy bar...) comes home!"
And we both just...
So then I sit down at my desk, absolutely elated by the events that had transpired on this beautiful Monday.
And then I realized that I still had two essays, one script, and a whole presentation to complete by Thursday.
Leave it to college to rain on my beautiful Monday parade.
I guess it's time to write that essay now and stop blogging.
Bleh.
