Most people love to shop.
Correction: most GIRLS love to shop.
I do not love to shop.
Shopping just rubs the fact that nothing ever fits me into my face.
You see, the world has this little lie stuck into its head that every girl has no butt, no hips, skinny thighs, and no "jell-o" (don't know what a "jell-o" is? I feel sorry for you).
Well sorry peeps! But I've got a small waist with some jell-o, no boobs, some big thighs, curvy hips, and a big boo-tay.
Yeah... I'm an awkward miz between an hourglass, a pear, and a gourd. :)
Sooo... call me back Target when you actually have something in my size that isn't either granny looking or SUPER SKINNY JEANS!
You know the kind... those jeans that are super teeny at the bottom and then exponentially expand near the top because they're made for fat people?
I'm no wannabe skinny girl, and I don't walk around with my boobs hanging out (like I could if I wanted to) or with my butt almost showing through my WAY too short shorts and I'm not fat.
So Target, I'd love to know why you thought I would want to purchase clothes from you that suggested I do!
Man you guys just crack me up. Your perception of teenagers... nah, nevermind. It's pretty true.
I know I can't change the way every teenage girls feels about herself.
I don't want to be preachy and convince every girl how beautiful she is, because I know I can't and that most of them probably wouldn't believe me and just tell me how ugly they are in an attempt to coax more compliments out of me or their boyfriend... *barf*
I'd just like to wear some clothes that fit me for once.
Aight?
Aight. :)
Anybody know some good places to buy some god clothes for cheap? I'm a bit of a Mr. Krabs when it comes to clothes, if it's over ten dollars I feel guilty unless I REALLY need it.
Anybody else have my problems? :)
Or am I just a crazay?
Oh, and happy Martin Luther King Day!

I actually work at Target! I've only bought one pair of pants from them ever and they were Massimo Black slacks.
Unless you are a teeny, tiny preteen, STAY AWAY from the regular Massimo brand jeans. They are sized EXTREMELY small and I've had friends who are usually a 6 or an 8 buy 11 and 13 jeans in that brand. They are just low cut and poor quality. The Merona brand jeans are old lady pants-- stay with Massimo Black jeans on the back jean wall! The quality is decent and you can get them on sale for like $20 a couple times a year. Also look at the clearance racks often (try February and September, because that's when the jean transitions usually are) and they'll be on clearance. We had two whole racks of jeans for $5 this time last year. It was amazing.
Like 75% of my wardrobe is from Target, but I've only paid full price for 2 or 3 things. Watch sales and clearances (PS women's clothes go to clearance on Tuesday mornings, so shop then!). Also I like F21, Rue 21, and Wet Seal for cute and cheap clothes. American Eagle for cheap jeans. But Target is my love.
Sorry for the novel comment! I am a wordy person anyway, but I love and know a lot about Target so I just go crazy! Ha!
Love, Jennie
