Mmmmmmm-K, Bye

So for a quick update, school is going great, church is as wonderful as ever, and I'm lovin' living in both Chandler and Mesa (c'mon, I spend more than half of my "awake" hours in Mesa, you can't say I don't partially live there)!

Any eventful events? Well...

-I switched my schedule around and dropped a lunch last week so that I could take Advanced Vocal. Mr. Sargent was extremely pushy persistent about me joining his top choir and I'm not going to lie... I was so flattered! Heck I had just barely started taking choir and he already wanted me in Advanced Vocal? I joined. I hated it. I dropped the next morning. *facepalm* Sometimes I wish I wasn't such a hot head.

-I came THIS close to finally seeing Michael Jackson's Giraffe that lives at Val Vista and Hunt Highway by our house. That ever reclusive beast won't be able to hide forever, someday I swear I WILL see it!

-One Act auditions are next week. *deep breath* I'm both deathly nervous and super excited to be getting involved in theatre again! How long has it been since Little Women? A year?

-Speaking of Little Women, AYT has started doing their own awards called the Marlies (like the Zonies, but jsut for us... I think it's darling) and guess who got nominated for Best Stand Out Ensemble Moment? Mhmmm, yours truly! :) I was nominated for my Boarding House scene as Mrs. Kirk... looks like that stupid Irish accent was good for something after all!

-I'm going to shave my dear friend Nathan's head today. Remember Nathan? Yes, his hair is wickedly long, and on the day we sang at graduation I jokingly asked him if I could shave his head for his birthday. He agreed. His birthday was a month ago... I've just been too chicken to actually do it! BUT we have set a date and time, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to convince Mimi to assist in the project... because she goes to EVIT, and I have no experience whatsoeer concerning hair and scissors, and my cosmotolegy licensed mother will be at a family party at the time of the shaving. *deep breath* wish us luck!

Hmmm, is that it? I think so.

So other than that, here are some thoughts from the morning. Have you ever had a crush on something, then thought about it, and then thought to yourself, "Man... I really am a freak for being head over heals for this thing." Anyone? Just me?

Well, let me share with you my odd loves. Perhaps you'll agree with my insanity. :)

First on the List is Mr. TumnusPhotobucket

When I first watched this movie I was immediately infatuated with this odd half goat man, I mean, dude! C'mon! Of course I never voiced these opinions until I watched Becoming Jane for the first time. Seeing James McAvoy up on the screen again brought back so many memories... but of course it never registered that my all time favorite actor was the one who had played my faovrite little fawn until later. Once this was realized, it all made sense. :) The moral of the story? James McAvoy is one good lookin' man no matter what he's dressed as.

Second is Mr. Mistoffelees

Photobucket

Yes. He is a cat. Yes, I loath cats. "But Jadyn! That doesn't make any sense!" No... no it doesn't. I'm not sure what it is with my love of beasts, but this magician from the musical Cats has my heart. :) Don't asky why... maybe it's the bow tie, or maybe it's his wicked dance skills, or maybe it's his magical powers... he just does.

And These Two Guys From Kid HistoryPhotobucket

Now this one isn't really odd. I just love them. I'm sure their wives/girlfriends are proud of their YouTube silliness... I mean, if I were them, I would be! :)

What about you guys??? I can't be the only one here who has odd crushes out there! :)

Peace out lovelies.
