Do You Hear the People Sing?

Goodmorning one and all! How's life for everybody out there? Summer treating you well?

My apologies for not blogging about the birthday sooner, but my life has been filled with much driving and much babysitting. I'm definately starting to feel older! Something about driving yourself places with nobody in the passenger seat makes you feel so independant and free and so... adult-like I guess. I'm not sure if I like it yet, so I'll keep you posted, it's all very new and strange. :)

Aaanywho, would you like me to stop talking about growing up and start talking about my wonderful birthday? Great! So would I. :)

First thing that went down went down the night before the anniversary of my birth. A date. With Spencer. I guess this is starting to become a regular thing, I mean remember last year? Ha ha, he's such a great friend and is always there to take me out for a fun time (because in this day and age chivalry is dead!). Woo hoo for Spencer! What we did was go to Wal Mart and use only 5 dollars to buy something to play a game with. A kind random man was sweet enough to take our picture. I just love kind random people. :)PhotobucketPhotobucket

The next day, my actual birthday, my mom and dad surprised me with two tickets to Les Mis! :D Dude, words can't even describe how stoked I was! Les Mis is my second favorite musical of all time (the first being Phantom, and the third being Wicked)!!! And I can't even describe how amazing it was, it was so much more wonderful actually seeing it acted out on stage... ugh... it was all so surreal. :) I can't even describe how much I love the theatre, it's so so so much fun! I wish I could go more often, and if I had the opportunity to do it more often... oh! You know I would! :) Plus it was so funny how many people we ran into there. In fact, we were going down the row and I looked up and saw my uncle Goobee and his wife Melissa sitting two seats over from us! Neither of us had any idea that the other one was going, so the two people in between us were kind enough to switch seats... again, kind sweet strangers to the rescue! :) And guess who else we saw there? Well, while my mom and I were walking out we were talking about what you wear to the theatre. We didn't really dress up, just some jeans and nice shirts and did our hair/makeup nice. She was saying that in Arizona you get and even mix and that some people dress up nice like us, some people just come in shorts and a T-Shirt, and some people dress super formal, and just as she said that a guy and a girl passed us who were dressed super beautiful and formal. "Just like them!" My mom said, and we were admiring the girl's gorgeous dress when I looked at the guy and said, "Woa! That looks just like Jeffrey's brother-in-law!" And then the girl turned around and I was like, "*gasp* Mom! I think that's Jeffrey's sister and her husband!" It was totally Nathan and Nicole, Jeffrey's sister and her husband!!! It was hilarious, and they looked so gorgeous! However... I did not say "Hi". I was afraid that she wouldn't remember me and think I was a creep-o or a stalker or something. Later though, I heard from Sister Moss that Nicole did recognize me, and was going to say "Hi", but didn't for the exact same reasons... goodness. It was still great, and an increadible show, and such a wonderful time! :) Photobucket

Sidenote: on our way out the parking lot we ran into this fun friend. Have you ever seen a dead bird look so peaceful and perfect? My mom and I were laughing for just about 5 minutes, it was hilarious!Photobucket

Thank you so much mama, I love you SO MUCH! Thank you for having me and for raising me and for not murdering me during my annoying stages of life and letting me be the person that I am. I love you and I'm glad that I get to be your daughter! :) MWAH!Photobucket
