Different

This Christmas was different.

I can't say why, but it was.

Perhaps it was because I had the least amount of presents than any of the other children.....

No, that can't be it. I got most of my Christmas presents early... that's why I only had four.

Perhaps it was because Sydnee came over with Tony.....

Nah, they came last year too. (They're such a cute couple).

Well, maybe it was because of the bubble machine that my mom got.....

No, it can't be that, I was a sourpuss and decided not to join in on that fun.

Maybe it was because I woke up before any of the other children and I was responisble for all of the racket that was us four giggling in my bedroom at 4 freaking 30 in the morning!....

Ha ha, no, I do that every year!

I guess I can't put my finger on it...

Wait.

I think I figured it out!

I think that Seminary actually caught ahold of my heartstrings this year.

I've been trying to focus mre on others this year, and it's all because of Seminary.

And it's been fun.

A selfless season.

A season for giving.

A season of Christ.

I think that's why it's been different.
