Yes, as most of you know, this is my wonderful sister Sydnee. Not only is Sydnee my sister, she's like the best sister EVER! Let me count the ways...
She's been there for me since the VERY beginning and stayed there even when my screams may have shattered her ear drums.
She also taught me many things that all older sisters should take upon themselves to teach their younger sisters, such as:
How to make a ridiculous face just before the photographer snaps the shot
What to do when you've got a bad hair day: strike a pose!
And that striking a pose can also save the 'iffiest' outfit, if struck just right.

Now Syd's all grown up and off living life, she's also become a very fancy cake decorator, (currently working at Target) and has taken it upon herself to decorate everybody's birthday cakes... even her own!
And everybody knows that to decorate a cake you need fancy cake decorating supplies.
And FROSTING!
And a lovely fancy cake decorator!
First she must apply the base layer of frosting,
... then she must smooth out that layer of frosting...
... don't forget to clean off those frosting smoothing tools....
Now it's time for Jadyn (her lovely assistant) to, once again, take the cake to the freezer...
... while Sydnee mixes the now pink frosting!
She then uses the frosting to make a border around the bottom & top of the cake.
What a lovely border!
Now time for some fancy decorative HEARTS!
Pink & Purple hearts!
After some yellow hearts around the side of her princess cake, she applies some royal jewels...
... sprinkles, and fancy princess lettering. It says: Queen of "Quite-a-Lot" Happy Birthday Syderella.
Viola! The finished product!
After the cake decorating, we ate some of my grandma's famous Chimichangas! *Made by my wonderful mother!
Happy Birthday Sydnee, let's hope this next year with you brings as many happy memories as this past one did! Love ya Syd!
P.S. Her birthday was yesterday, not today!
